British Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (BSGAR) – Annual Meeting

February 2 - February 3

Abstract Submission Deadline: 12 December 2022

Our theme is ‘At the Cutting Edge’ and our meeting President Ed Godfrey and the team at Cambridge will be our virtual hosts for an exciting programme showcasing a high calibre BSGAR faculty from the four corners of the UK and the Netherlands.

Our programme commences with a review of latest advances in imaging and management of rectal cancer swiftly followed by ‘CT Top Guns’ to get expert insights into dealing with the hardest cases. We will focus on focal liver lesions in cirrhosis and provide a GI modality showcase to highlight latest developments across a broad range of techniques to bring into your clinical practice. The established popular interactive MDT format continues on our last day with a liver metastasis MDT and we will also use interactive features in other sessions to bring you closer to the action and contribute to the discussion and content using our bespoke virtual platform.

You will have plenty of choice of content with a variety of parallel sessions, sponsor exhibits and symposia, ‘Case of the Day’, the best of BSGAR, e-posters and abstracts. Plus any content you miss is available on catch up! Our ever popular interesting case and scientific presentations and research and audit sessions guarantee to educate and entertain while our Junior BSGAR members can deepen their knowledge in dedicated sessions.

Finally we are honoured to host Prof Regina Beets-Tan, an internationally renowned researcher in GI imaging and Chair of Radiology at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam. She is current president of the European Society of Radiology and she will be describing the exciting future in store for GI radiology in the Richard Farrow Memorial Lecture.

We look forward to welcoming new delegates and returning friends to our BSGAR community. Don’t forget to join in our social programme! This is a conference you cannot afford to miss!
