In response to request from the participants, IDKD Pediatric Radiology Course will be held again in 2023. The topic of the Course is “Diseases of the Abdomen and Pelvis”. The Course will be workshops-style offered in a face-to-face (onsite in Davos) format only.
- Pediatric Radiology Courses will take place on Saturday prior to the IDKD in a face-to-face (onsite) format only
- The 53rd IDKD registration fees do not include the Saturday courses: if you are attending the IDKD course, please select Saturday courses ticket(s) in addition while registering
- The two courses on Saturday are running in parallel. If you wish to attend both the Saturday courses, you would be able to attend the Pediatric course in Davos and the “Fundamentals” course online
IDKD target audience
- Pediatric radiologists, pediatric radiology residents and fellows
- Radiologists with interest in and / or obligation for pediatric radiology
- Interested clinicians
- Radiology technicians with advanced competences/interests
Course objectives
- Teach the participants effective approaches in analyzing diagnostic imaging challenges in pediatric patients with diseases of the abdomen and pelvis
- Allow participants in guided self study to recognize key imaging features of various diseases
- Teach participants in which settings which imaging examination is most effective
- Offer participants to interact with top international experts in the field of radiology of pediatric diseases of the abdomen and pelvis
